Lory et Chun-Jiao tentèrent plusieurs fois de convaincre leurs parents de partir en voyage afin de se rencontrer. Elles parlaient même de se rejoindre à mi-chemin, en France par exemple, mais leurs parents restaient toujours réticents. Ils ne comprenaient pas le lien d’amitié qui pouvait les unir à un si jeune âge.

Through the years, Lory and Chung-Jiao have tried convincing their parents many times to go on a trip so they could meet. They thought about meeting halfway, in France for example, but their parents have always been reluctant and they did not understand the meaning of their relationship at such a young age.
